Melrose

Melrose is primarily a residential neighborhood located in the southwestern section of the Bronx. Predominantly German-American in the 19th century it is home to the Haffen Building and was home to Haffen Brewing Company. Melrose is rectangular-shaped, bordered by Prospect Avenue on the east, 149th Street on the south, Park Avenue on the west and 161st Street to the north.
